4 Draw and send

Your rules allow only one possible draw, so anyone who knows the rules can work out every match. To keep it a surprise, remove a rule or add someone, then draw again.
Send each person only their own link. The pairs aren't shown anywhere on this page, but each link opens that person's match, so if you're taking part, open only your own. Don't show this page to anyone else, even in a screenshot or a screen share: a photo of a link is enough to open it.

Gift Exchange Generator, Not Secret: Show the Whole List
Choose Not secret at the top of the draw, add the names and press Draw names. The list appears as a table, Giver and Gives to, with the budget, date and note above it. Copy list gives you plain lines such as "Anna gives to Cara", ready to paste into a family chat or an email. Print list prints the table and nothing else.
An open list suits a family where parents shop for the younger children, a grandparent who needs to know where to mail a parcel, or a small group that plans gifts together. It is also the honest choice for groups of 3: three people have only two possible draws, so each of them can work out the whole list from their own match. And if your family would rather each bring one gift and trade, that is a White Elephant swap, which needs a turn order, not a name draw.
The list isn't saved and isn't put in any link. Change a name or leave the page and it is gone, so copy or print it first. To keep the matches secret instead, choose Secret: each person gets a private link, as with our Secret Santa name generator, and their card says Gift exchange. You can send each link on WhatsApp, by text or by email.
Gift Exchange Generator With Exclusions for Households
Type each household on one line with plus signs, like Anna + Ben + Leo, and nobody draws someone from their own line. Everyone else gets a line of their own. For a rule between two people who don't live together, such as last year's pairs, add it in step 2, one way or both ways. Who buys for the children, and whether they draw at all, is covered in family Secret Santa rules. Settle how much to spend before the draw, so the figure is on the list or on every card.
A household can be too big for the group, so check whether your household rules can work before you collect the names. A draw works only when no household holds more than half the people: a household of four in a group of seven needs four people outside it to give to, and there are only three. We checked that rule against every way of splitting 2 to 10 people into households. If your list breaks it, the page says who is stuck before anyone gets a link.
Pollyanna Gift Exchange Generator
Some families call their draw a Pollyanna. It runs the same way here: households on one line, then Secret or Not secret. The cards say Gift exchange.
Is There a Gift Exchange Generator That Doesn't Require an Email?
Yes, this one. Nobody types an email address, the organizer included, and nobody makes an account. With Not secret there is nothing to send at all. With Secret, each person's link has WhatsApp, Text and Email buttons that open your own app with the message written, so the relatives who never check email get theirs in a chat. It is free and shows no ads. If the group includes children under 13, tick the box in step 3, and their cards will never show ads or shopping links.
How to Create a Gift Exchange
Four decisions cover most family exchanges. Make them in this order:

There is no wish-list feature, so use the note to say where lists go, for example "Wish lists in the family chat by December 1." If someone drops out after the draw, draw again and share the new list or the new links.
Is There a Name Randomizer I Can Use for a Gift Exchange?
A plain name randomizer shuffles a list or picks one name at a time. For a gift exchange that goes wrong twice over: it can hand someone their own name, and it knows nothing about households. This page is a name randomizer built for a Christmas gift exchange. Nobody gets themselves, household rules always hold, and every draw your rules allow is equally likely, using your browser's cryptographic random numbers. The one exception, very tight rules in a group of more than 16, gets close to equal instead; the about page explains how the draw stays fair.
It doesn't force one big circle where each person gives to the next. Two people can draw each other, just as they can when names come out of a hat. If your family wants a single circle, this page can't make one.
